Asians United in Action | Rally Against Racism & Hate

Millbrae Community Television, along with the surrounding community, stands firmly against acts of violence, racism, scapegoating and discrimination of all forms. We want to thank our City and community organizers for coming together to publicly condemn the frightening uptick of crimes against Asian Americans across the United States, and in the Bay Area particularly. In a region that has been historically and culturally shaped by Asian immigrants and American-born Asians and Pacific Islanders, we owe it to each other to take an active stance in speaking out against such hate.

We invite you to join us in person at Millbrae City Hall on Saturday, April 17 to present a strong showing of solidarity for those in the AAPI community who have been targeted by violence and hate speech. For those unable to attend, MCTV will be livestreaming the rally in front of City Hall with live coverage beginning at noon through the event’s conclusion. It is our honor to bring these important community voices into your home unedited, and without interruption. We hope you can join us, whether it be in person or virtually.
