Description:
The Multimedia production Specialist/Broadcast Op will assist in production projects, overseeing all in-house & field productions, content creation, media coverage. In conjunction with the Tech Manager and technical director using NewTek TriCaster & Cablecast for multi-cam Livestreams, to ensure weekly client public meetings and community event coverage.

Highly organized with good social and communication skills and an ability to complete creative media production work that meets professional standards.
Multimedia Production Specialist is responsible for the following in addition to other career boosting projects:
- Oversee and support production of record-edit productions from inception to delivery, including directing, editing, scoping, site visits, assigning crew and timely content completion and delivery.
- Responsible for all studio & field, pre- to post-production, including PSAs and community programs.
- Establish and maintain community relationships through production, social media collaboration, and in-person customer collaboration.
- Works collaboratively with the Executive Director, Production Supervisor, & Tech Manager to ensure accuracy and consistency of graphics, social media, and local channel content creation and distribution.
- Develop and schedule programming content that highlights local community organizations and events.
- Post and share all completed productions to appropriate social media platforms and other broadcast channels.
- Monitor equipment status and provide notification about necessary repairs.
Broadcast meeting coverage:
- Facilitate broadcast of live content using client channel resources and/or live web streaming.
- Upload and schedule recorded productions for replay or VOD.
- Select, download, and schedule programs for city channels (generic programming, community announcements, agendas, weekly live meeting) as directed by channel owner.
- Enter new episodes into the online asset database (TRT, id, title, descriptions, series, category, expiration dates, etc).
- Write and/or edit text for TV shows website descriptions and TV Guides.
- Design/edit content and upload community announcements slides.
Desired Work Experience & Education:
Degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Broadcasting or IT background. Graphics design and/or public access television experience helpful.
- Skilled in all aspects of small format video field production, studio production, and editing using Adobe Premiere suite.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor problems on broadcast media, and production equipment.
- Working knowledge of Mac OS, Windows OS, Google suite, and project management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and writing skills.
- Provide clear direction of field and studio setup and strike production equipment.
- Must have a valid California drivers license.
- Must provide their own transportation.
