Millbrae Art & Wine Festival 2021

Hello Friends of MCTV! 

MCTV is now accepting volunteers for the Art & Wine Festival, Saturday September 4th.

Our annual Art & Wine Volunteer Program allows you a hands-on opportunity to work in a live, professional television production setting. It’s a perfect way to gain experience, create content for your reel and network with new friends and colleagues!

This year is a special one– the 50th Art & Wine Festival! It’s an even more exciting time to produce our annual live show, and MCTV is playing an important role: Bringing media coverage to people who may choose to forgo attendance and simply watch virtually. Due to COVID concerns, a few elements of the production will be modified this year for safety, but we will still rely on volunteers like YOU to make the show happen. We also want to increase the spotlight on the artists and vendors, who are the heart and soul of this festival, and who were hit hard last year when street fairs were cancelled. We hope this presents more of an opportunity for volunteer videographers and editors to create video packages they feel proud of.

We are currently accepting volunteers for the following positions:
– Social Media Team
– Field Videographers
– Grips/PAs for studio and field production
– Editors comfortable working in Adobe Premiere Pro

All volunteer crew will report to our Line Producer at our usual booth location, Broadway near Taylor in front of the Starbucks.

NOTE: MCTV, the City of Millbrae and Festival Organizers will be monitoring County of San Mateo COVID health & safety guidance, so please be prepared for last minute changes to our operating protocol.

This year’s volunteer orientation will take place virtually for most, but may involve in-person training when/if necessary.
